Week 3 - January 16 - 22, 2011

Ry, in all of his cute little bad-ass self, declared his attractiveness to the female population.

There was some ice that led to a snow-day with two of my favorite little men.

And Momma got a new brand new toy for her camera!  I finally broke down and bought the flash I've been eyeballing for a few months now.  I love it!!!

Week 2 - January 9 - 15, 2011

Well, let's see, the week started off great - over to Di's for the Ravens and Eagles games where we had Maryland Crab Soup and Philly Cheesesteaks. And beer. Lots of beer.

Of course, it was cold out, so it was bikes by the fire...

and Matthew's ever first school project! He has a minor obsession with tornadoes, so when he was given an assignment to make a mobile about a weather event, of course that is what he picked! We read a bunch of information on the storms and he picked out 5 facts to represent on his mobile. Both Matthew and Mommy were very proud of what he did!

The week ended on a bad note with a Ravens loss to the Steelers in the Divisional Championship, but, being the partiers we are, we danced our blues away!

Week 1 - January 1 - 8, 2011

The week started off with the Entourage's second annual cook-off.  This year it was chili, and it was good!  There was some tough competition, and I don't think a winner was ever really named.  No pics of the chili, because, let's face it, chili does not make for a good picture.  However, there was poker and Mel teaching three excited little boys how to make fart noises.  Way to go Mel!

The boys also spent a lot of time playing with their new toys.  There were tons of art projects completed on the new art table from Nina using the fun supplies she gave them and some Play-doh from The Jeffersons:

And then there was some rocking out on the new guitars from Mom-Mom and P-Pop.

And, on top of it all, it was back to school for Matthew and some reading time with Daddy.

It was a very busy, yet fun, week in the Schmidt house!!!

January 1, 2011 - A Fresh New Start!!!

Well, my Project 365 didn't go so well last year. I made it through May, and then got lost. My goal this year is 52 posts. 1 post per week. It doesn't matter how many pics are included or when they were taken, just a post to chronicle a week in the life of the Schmidt House. Hopefully, by the end of the year, I'll have 52 posts that can serve as an electronic and photographic journal of 2011.
