Day 1, January 1, 2010 - Happy New Year!

My husband's family has a tradition of eating bean soup on New Years Day.  According to the tradition, a bowl of bean soup is supposed to bring good luck and prosperity for the New Year.  I must say, my father-in-law out did himself this year.  This year's soup was delicious (and I'm not a big fan of bean soup), so I thought it was only fitting to start the year out with a picture of his soup.  Not a show stopper, but a pic that most definitely summarizes the day.  Here's wishing you good luck and prosperity in 2010!
