Oy! I just don't know what's gotten into my little man...this is the second red day in a row! (Ok, so there was a weekend in there, but the second school day in a row.) This from a boy who has never had a red before, and only three yellows the entire school year. For those of you without Kindergartners, they teach the kids good behavior skills by grading them daily using a color scale. Green means they are behaving, showing Respect, Responsibility, and Readiness to Learn; yellow means they had some warnings, but shaped up; red means they straight out broke the rules, even after being warned. Red is not good.
Today Mr. Man got in trouble for not paying attention and talking. Hmmmm, a five-year old not paying attention. Really??? Who would have thunk it? As a result, there is no more Lego Star Wars in the Schmidt House until we see at least three green days in a row. Come on greens!!!
